The Weather Jacket
On’s Weather Jacket is a great investment piece with its durability and classic look. It’s made with high-tech Japanese fabrics and is the perfect companion for all miles this fall and winter! It’s perfect in chilly temperatures or adding in the wind and some precipitation, this jacket will serve your needs.
The men’s and women’s version of this jacket both look crisp and clean in the neutral, yet eye-catching colors. The Men’s Weather Jacket is in Black/Shadow and the Women’s version is in Grey/White. These colors look great with any of your already owned outfits. The Weather Jacket draws you in by its looks and at closer inspection, you see the amazing function of the jacket. We have 2 great views on the Jacket, a men’s perspective from Dave and a women’s perspective from Carla.
Carla finds the Weather Jacket lightweight and perfect for cooler temperature runs and especially in light rain or snow. She purchased the jacket last year and has been anxious for cooler temps to pull it out again! The brim of the hood is perfect for keeping the water out of your eyes. A key feature is the ease of packing up the jacket to fit a small space in your carry bag or gym bag. The jacket runs true to size, but you may want to size up if wanting to add layers for warmth. Carla considers this a staple; the neutral colors go with any outfit if you like to color coordinate.
Carla grabs this jacket anytime we have a steady/lite rain/snow to walk the dog, head to the store, runs, walks, heading to the gym, etc.
Looks and functions are what drew Dave to the Weather Jacket. After putting in the miles with this piece, he can use 1 simple word, to sum up, the jacket: Light. It’s impressively light! He has yet to try out the water-repellent part of this jacket as the only day there was rain it was a light sprinkle. It’s really well made with taped seams which helps keep the rain and wind out. The vent panels worked very well. Dave says, “I ran in the low 50’s with a short sleeve shirt and never overheated. It would be too warm to wear in temps much higher but with a nice long sleeve, it would be my go-to in temps between 35º – 50º or for windy/overcast days in the 50º – 60º”.
Similar to Carla’s feedback, Dave agrees the fit is true to size as he normally wears a small and it fits him perfectly. If you prefer a looser fit, you may need to go up a size.
Loucas also tried on the jacket for performance reasons. Loucus stands tall at a very lean 6’4″. He didn’t notice any cons about the jacket, it all just “made sense”: the placement of the pockets, lightweight, ease of shoulder movement. He was impressed with how well the hood fit overhead, meaning it had enough depth AND height (which is a rare find for him). The ‘Large’ size jacket fits great and gave him enough length both covering his torso to his hips and his shoulder to wrist. Style points are 5/5 stars for sure!
Women’s Tights 7/8
These tights feel fantastic and move so well with the body. The colors carried at Big Peach, Black and Sea, will match many tops already in your athletic wardrobe. Megan put these tights to the test with both a run and HIIT workout. The tights are designed for motion, stretching in all the right places. They have an extra wide comfortable adaptive waistband and a reflective pattern for safety. Kelli appreciated the reflective pattern on her early morning runs. The pattern is only visible when hit by light; otherwise, the color looks neutral. There is one covered pocket that is nice and deep to keep small items like ID and a key safe and secure.
Tank-T and Running Shorts
On Tights Long
Dave had a great run in the Tights Long. The material is really soft and smooth which makes them really comfortable. These would be great for moderately cool temps in the 40º – 50º range. For temps in the mid-30’s and below they might be too light. The best feature is the 3 pocket design in the back. Dave reports, “I easily carried my keys and credit cards in the side pockets. The center rear pocket is large enough for a standard size phone. I had an issue adjusting the drawstring the first time and the waist felt loose. I did better the second time around and the waist felt more secure. The fit is true to size and leg length wasn’t too long as I’m on the shorter side and typically have tights or pants that run a little long”.
Loucus shares the same thoughts about the comfort of the Tights Long. His favorite feature is the central stash pocket in the center of the rear waistband. The large size fits both in length for his tall frame and was comfortable in the waist.
Running Pants
The Running Pants are perfect for a lazy Sunday on the couch, getting the long miles done, or recovery pants after that long run. The men’s and women’s versions mirror each other exactly in the details: 2 side zippered pockets with easy access as well as a zipper above the ankle for easily getting on and off. The drawstring waistband makes it comfortable to adjust for different sizes.
Performance Long T
Of all the On pieces worn by Loucas, he says without hesitation that the Performance Long T is his favorite. The comfort experienced along with being lightweight, breathable fabric, and versatility of the look makes it a shirt needed by all! He’ll wear it on its own or for layering as temperatures turn from cooler to cold.
