The RUNATL Podcast is hosted by Big Peach Running Co. Founder, Mike Cosentino, and Director of Marketing, Dave “D2” Martinez. This week we sit down with Tina Tait as she shares her journey, challenges, struggle to lose weight and how she transitioned into becoming the runner she always wanted to be.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, Friends!
And what a year it will be! D2 and I are already certain 2018 is going to be terrific. Nonetheless, we know that we have to start strong in order to have that kind of year most (all?) of us are planning… And with all of the worthwhile information that is already “out there” relative to exercise, gym membership, nutrition, diet plans, stress management, etc., we felt like it was our duty to take a different path! As such, both of our episodes in January will introduce you to friends of ours who have inspired us – – and we know will inspire you to take on any challenges in your present and conquer any excuses that are likely in your way! Both Tina Tait (this episode) and Andrew Powell (next episode) have shown resolve with real staying power, overcome unrelatable tragedy (for me, anyway) and made the world a better place while bettering themselves… 2018, here we come!
Alright, that might be a bit of an embellishment…
As always, thank you for being part of the fun! The Show Notes are brief, but, oh, so powerful – – and they are below…

Before you do anything else, watch (or watch again!) the mindset that fuels Big Peach Running Co. and unapologetically asks, “What’s Your Excuse?”

Don’t let it only sound like a stretch goal… Tina proved it can happen. Here’s the link to the NYC Marathon.
And most importantly, you’ve got to check out this video, as Tina and Al Roper share a common and inspirational journey on the set of the Today Show.
We so very much appreciate you! We will see you again in just a couple weeks with another dose of new year’s inspiration… Until then, may your best miles be those covered on foot!
