Big Peach Ride + Run Podcast

Hey Friends!

This was quite a special episode dealing with mental health. Thank you, Fe for sharing your journey.

I want to once again stress that if you are in need of help, please reach out and talk to someone. A great resource is the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: https://988lifeline.org. You can also text 988 from your phone.

If you’re interested in doing a 100-miler, check out Cruel Jewel 100. There is also a 50-mile option if you’re not ready to go the full distance.

I also mentioned that the Atlanta Winter Bike League starts November 19th at 9:30 am at 1010 White Street in Atlanta (Lee + White Complex). If you know where Wild Heaven Brewery at West End is, that’s the meeting and start location. The coffee shop Finca to Filter is open (inside Wild Heaven) so you can get your pre-ride caffeine fix. With plenty of free parking and bathrooms available, this is a great location for a group ride. All ride paces are welcome (less than 12 mph – 17 mph pace groups available). The first ride is 1 hr 40 mins. and increases by 20 minutes every two weeks. The final ride is 4 hrs 40 mins. These are training rides with ride group leaders so no one gets dropped. All groups start and finish at the same time. I’ll be one of the group ride leaders and it would be great if you came out to say hello. The Atlanta Winter Bike League is in its 10th year and is organized by Robert Wilhite of MyCycleCoach.com. There is no cost to participate. This is Robert’s way of giving back to the community and improving the cycling experience for all riders.

Keep running, keep riding, and keep believing in yourself.
